I like the simple way of cooking Jamie Oliver does and love how he creates One-Pan Wonders.
Think Microsoft also liked this and created One Dynamics One Platform as a copy of Jamie Oliver’s One-Pan.
I see that some are already working on it, but others are very hesitant, therefore some additional explanation on this and documentation.
3 Unified experiences
One Developer
The unified developer experience brings together the different tools and environments used to create apps for finance, operations, and Power Platform, making it easier and smoother to work across these systems. The finance and operations apps offer a powerful, code-based setup for building complex, essential applications. Meanwhile, Power Platform allows for quicker, easier app creation using low-code tools and Microsoft Dataverse as a central database. It also includes tools for automating the process of building and updating apps, making it faster to launch and improve solutions.
Herewith the 2023 perspective:
One Admin
Finance and operations app users can now manage their environments, policies, licensing, and storage directly in the Power Platform admin center.
With the recent unification of admin experiences, finance and operations apps are now part of the Power Platform as a single application. This means that a variety of Dynamics 365 apps—like Sales, Marketing, finance and operations—and low-code apps, automated workflows, and websites can all be installed and managed in one Power Platform environment, using a shared Dataverse database. This streamlined setup offers administrators a consistent way to handle app management tasks across all tools within a single environment.
From Lifecycle Services (LCS) to Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC):
One User
The One User experience, One Environment with all what you need from Microsoft.
One Transaction, merge Finance and Operations Database with Dataverse Database into One Database.
One Connector, migrate all to Microsoft Dataverse One Connector.
One Background Jobs, move from F&O batchjobs to Power Automate Flows.
