In 2020 I did a session on testing at Areopa called “Testing, a team effort” , based on my experience.

To bring your apps to AppSource, they have to pass the technical validation. Microsoft applies code coverage based on automatic testing. However, what does this say about quality? How do you make sure you make good tests? Do you cover the risks? And is this the only way to test? At Schouw Informatisering, testing is a separate process that is monitored by the Test Coordinator. Olaf Jorritsma takes you through the process, the test scripts, tools and the Definition of Done. Testing is woven into the overall process, is a team effort and ensures focus on features instead of bugs.
